Ingredients

  • 1 lb sushi-grade ahi tuna, cubed
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/2 sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • Steamed rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the tuna into 1/2-inch cubes and place in a bowl.
  2. 2Add soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, sesame seeds, sweet onion, ginger, and chili flakes.
  3. 3Gently toss to coat, taking care not to break up the tuna.
  4. 4Cover and refrigerate at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. 5Serve chilled over steamed rice.
