Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef and pork mix
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs soaked in milk
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup flour, for dredging
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup beef stock
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- 1Mix ground meat with soaked breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, and parsley.
- 2Shape into small meatballs and dredge lightly in flour.
- 3Fry meatballs in olive oil until browned on all sides, then remove.
- 4Sauté onion in the same pan until soft, then add crushed tomatoes and wine.
- 5Add stock and simmer sauce 10 minutes.
- 6Return meatballs to the sauce and simmer 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
