Ingredients

  • 700g goat or beef, cut into small cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon xawaash spice blend
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  2. 2Add the cubed meat and sear quickly on all sides.
  3. 3Add onion, garlic, and chili, stirring frequently.
  4. 4Sprinkle in the xawaash spice blend and stir to coat the meat.
  5. 5Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften into a light sauce.
  6. 6Continue cooking over medium-high heat until the meat is tender and lightly caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.
  7. 7Season with salt to taste.
  8. 8Serve hot with rice or flatbread.
