The Tale of Omboga (Namibian Spinach and Peanut Relish)
Story updated
Omboga, a relish of leafy greens like spinach cooked with ground peanuts or peanut butter, follows the same pattern found across Southern Africa, where peanuts turn simple garden greens into a hearty side dish. It's a homestyle staple served alongside porridges like oshifima or pap in Namibian households.
