The Tale of Stoemp
Story updated
Stoemp, mashed potato mixed with vegetables, is a working-class Brussels comfort dish closely related to the Dutch stamppot found just across the border. Like its Dutch cousin, it grew out of a practical need to make a little meat and a lot of vegetables feel like a full meal.
