Bourek (Fried Meat and Cheese Rolls)

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 2 eggs, hard-boiled and chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 package spring roll wrappers
- 1 egg, beaten, for sealing
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1Cook the ground beef with the onion and garlic until browned and no longer pink.
- 2Season with cinnamon, salt, and pepper, then stir in the chopped parsley and let the mixture cool.
- 3Mix in the shredded cheese and chopped hard-boiled eggs once the meat has cooled.
- 4Lay out a spring roll wrapper, place a spoonful of filling near one edge, and roll tightly, folding in the sides, sealing the final edge with beaten egg.
- 5Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- 6Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F.
- 7Fry the bourek in batches until golden and crisp on all sides, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- 8Drain on paper towels and serve hot as an appetizer.
