Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 2 lb beef stew meat, cubed
- 1 onion, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked, for serving
Instructions
- 1Place the beef, onion, mushrooms, garlic, broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker and stir to combine.
- 2Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the beef is very tender.
- 3In a small bowl, whisk the flour with a few tablespoons of the hot cooking liquid until smooth, then stir the mixture back into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- 4Cover and cook on high for another 15 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- 5Turn off the heat and stir in the sour cream until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
- 6Serve the stroganoff spooned over cooked egg noodles.
