Fish Tacos with Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillets (tilapia or cod), cut into strips
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded green cabbage
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 avocado, sliced
Instructions
- 1Toss the fish strips with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt.
- 2Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the fish for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until golden and it flakes easily with a fork.
- 3Meanwhile, whisk together the mayonnaise and lime juice, then toss with the shredded cabbage to make the slaw.
- 4Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
- 5Divide the fish among the tortillas and top with cabbage slaw, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.
- 6Serve immediately with extra lime wedges.
