Berry Trifle

Ingredients
- 1 store-bought or homemade pound cake, cubed
- 3 cups mixed berries
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 cups vanilla pudding (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 2 tbsp sliced almonds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- 1Toss the mixed berries with the sugar and let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.
- 2Layer a third of the cubed cake in the bottom of a large glass trifle bowl.
- 3Spoon a third of the berries and their juices over the cake, followed by a third of the pudding and a third of the whipped cream.
- 4Repeat the layers two more times, ending with a final layer of whipped cream on top.
- 5Garnish with sliced almonds or extra berries if desired.
- 6Chill for at least 1 hour before serving to let the layers set.
