Lemon Pepper Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- 1Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and season both sides with lemon pepper seasoning and salt.
- 2Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through to 165°F.
- 3Remove the chicken and set aside, then lower the heat and melt the butter in the same skillet.
- 4Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds, then stir in the lemon zest and juice, scraping up any browned bits.
- 5Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the top, and serve immediately.
