Crispy Chicken Tacos

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground chicken
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade blend)
- 1/3 cup water
- 8 crunchy taco shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tomato, diced
- sour cream and salsa, for serving
Instructions
- 1Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground chicken, breaking it apart, for 6-8 minutes until browned and no longer pink.
- 2Drain any excess liquid, then stir in the taco seasoning and water.
- 3Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly and coats the chicken.
- 4Warm the taco shells in the oven according to the package instructions.
- 5Fill each shell with the seasoned chicken, then top with lettuce, cheese, and tomato.
- 6Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side.
