The Tale of Chicken Caesar Wraps
Story updated
Caesar salad was invented in 1924 by Italian-American restaurateur Caesar Cardini in Tijuana, Mexico, reportedly assembled from available ingredients during a Fourth of July rush. Wrapping the salad's chicken, romaine, and dressing into a tortilla is a later American fast-casual adaptation from the 1990s wrap trend.

- 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
