Slow-Cooker Pulled Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 3 lb beef chuck roast
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, plus more for serving
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 6 sandwich rolls
- Coleslaw for topping (optional)
Instructions
- 1Season the roast generously with salt and pepper and place it in the slow cooker with the onion and garlic.
- 2Whisk together the beef broth, barbecue sauce, and Worcestershire sauce, then pour over the roast.
- 3Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 5-6 hours, until the beef shreds easily.
- 4Remove the roast and shred it with two forks, discarding any large pieces of fat.
- 5Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and toss with the cooking liquid, adding more barbecue sauce to taste.
- 6Pile the beef onto sandwich rolls and top with coleslaw if desired.
