Ingredients

  • 2 T-bone steaks, about 1-inch thick
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. 1Let the steaks come to room temperature for 20-30 minutes, then rub with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. 2In a small bowl, mash together the softened butter, garlic, parsley, and rosemary to form a compound butter.
  3. 3Preheat a grill to high heat.
  4. 4Grill the steaks for 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, until they reach an internal temperature of about 130-135°F.
  5. 5Remove from the grill and immediately top each steak with a spoonful of herb butter.
  6. 6Let the steaks rest for 5-8 minutes before serving so the juices redistribute.
